ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Francesca Cozzitorto and I'm passionate about languages, cultures and translation. I'm an Italian native speaker working with English and Russian. When I was still a student, I started translating my favourite songs and passages from books, and learning how to create subtitles. I've continued to translate ever since and now, as a freelancer, I'm still eager to learn new things, look for challenges and grow professionally.

After completing my Master's Degree in Audiovisual Translation at the University of Turin, I started working for a couple of localization companies, Italian film festivals and private clients. When working for either companies or individuals, my goal is to deliver accurate and high-quality products. I'm a tenacious, hard-working, reliable and resourceful person, and these virtues impact my work as well.

Besides my freelance job, I also collaborate as a language researcher at the University of Turin (Italy).

WHY CHOOSE ME?

  • I got a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages (English and Russian) at the University of Rome and two Master's degrees at the University of Turin, one in English and American Studies and the other in Audiovisual Translation.

  • I started developing excellent communication and teamwork skills during my university days, thanks to my study abroad experiences and volunteer work. I spent a year at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and six months at Tomsk Polytechnic University in Tomsk, Russia. I was fortunate enough to study in two of the world's top universities and be in contact with different cultures, traditions and languages.
